Gavi is one of the major eco-tourism centres in Kerala, which has been listed as one of the must see place in India by World Acclaimed Tourism major , Alistair International. It is a part of the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This place is a perfect blend of nature’s marvels with various other attractions that has not been explored too much and has still retained its beauty . The journey to Gavi is itself an exciting and rejuvenating experience . Way to Gavi is mainly known for its wildlife. During the journey you will be attracted by the sight of Gavi, endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr , Lion tailed macaque, Wild Gaur and Elephants. Sholai Forest and grass lands are the other major attractions throughout the way to Gavi. Presence of Gopher tree , the tree which is identified as Gopher (also known as Nirampalli) is an important thing. Gopher wood is a term used once in the Bible. Bird watchers must not miss the chance to visit Gavi as they can spot a lot of rare avian species at this place. With more than 260 species of birds including the great pied hornbill, Woodpecker and king fisher,Gavi is a heaven for birds. This is a perfect place for nature explorers that offers a chance to get acquainted with the unique flora of the Western Ghats . In short a splendid spot to be visited at least once for all those who love the nature.

KERALA PSC ONE TIME REGISTRATION-INSTRUCTIONS



Kerala PSC (KPSC)  has begin a “One Time Online Registration process”  from 1st ofJanuary 2012 onwards.This online  one time registration process of Kerala Public Service Commission is through their official website http://www.keralapsc.org/.Each and every candidate who wish to appear for KPSC examinations should have to register their details through this one time registration,the advantage of this process is that this enables the candidates to appear for all the further exams according to his/her qualification through this online account created in the KPSC website.Here we are giving step by step instructions to complete kerala PSC one time registeration.

 Before starting your online one time registration be ready with the your scannedphotograph,and scanned copy of signature(i.e in digital format) in the below prescribed format size etc. also kindly remember to take any of your ID proof such as voter card/aadhar card/driving license/passport/pan card/nationalised bank passbook with you.

KPSC Photograph specifications:  Maximum Size : 30Kb; Image Dimension : 150Width X 200Height pixels; Image Type :JPG;with name of candidate and date of photo taken at the bottom portion of photograph.The face should be positioned in such a way that it should be at the central portion of radiograph.  
      
KPSC Scanned signature specifications: Maximum Size : 30Kb, Image Dimension : 150Width X 100 pixels height, Image Type : JPG    

Kerala PSC One Time Registration(Thulasi) Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1 – Open the Home page of official website of Kerala psc 



TO GO TO ONE TIME REGISTRATION WINDOW Click :https://thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in/thulasi/

Step 2-Click on One Time registration Box ,To enter into One Time Registration
 page (Thulasi)(As shown in screenshot given)




Step 3-Then registration page will appear. Click on New Registration or Sign UpButton to Start your one time Registration process.(As shown in screen shot given)



Step 4- Then a page will open asking you “please check whether your photograph bears your name and date of photo taken.Your application will be summarily rejected(non appealable) if your photo does not contain your name and date of photo taken.” Then answer it with I AGREE adding tick(by clicking in box).Then click NEXT button.

Step 5Upload Your Photo :first of all you have to upload a photo of candidate of Maximum Size : 30Kb, Image Dimension : 150W X 200H px, Image Type :JPG,with name of candidate and date of photo taken at the bottom portion of photograph.This can be done by clicking BROWSE button in the screen and then selecting the photograph from your computer       (,ie go to the specific folder where you have kept the photograph by clicking and opening specific disk and folders and at last select the photograph and click open ,thats it.So remember where you have kept the photographs ,in which folder and how to navigate to that folder from MY COMPUTER).If uploading is successful your image will pop up on right hand side of screen with KPSC mark.Then you will be asked to upload your signature

[PROBLEMS IN UPLOADING READ THIS:If your photograph is not in the prescribed format it will be rejected with error details "face not at the center" ,such as if it is so you have to correct it .There is a link below the blank photograph on right hand side "HELP ME TO RE SIZE THE IMAGE" ,by clicking you can correct some of the errors,when you click that your photo graph will appear in a side by side format  ,that is on right side photo with two rectangles over it ,on left hand side a plane image.By clicking and dragging the on the photo on the left hand side you have to adjust the right side photo in such a manner that the face portion should be with in outer rectangle.Most of the times you can correct errors such as 'face not on the center' etc. with this,but in some cases you cant adjust the photo with in rectangle,some part of photograph such as your name ,date etc may be cropped,in such cases you have to correct the photograph using photoshop before proceeding to one time registration process.If you are not an expert with photoshop works seek the help from any of your friends or from the studio from where you taken photos.


Step 6:Then Upload your Scanned Signature of  Maximum Size : 30Kb, Image Dimension : 150Width X 100Height pixels, Image Type : JPG .This upload also can be done by clicking BROWSE button in the screen and selecting the scanned image of signature from your computer.Same as in the case of photograph.If uploading is successful a new page will appear with your photograph and signature with KPSC mark on the right hand side.


Step 7: Next step is to fill personal details of the candidate like name , date of birth,  gender, religion , caste, sub caste, father's name ,mother's name ,guardian's name,spouse's name,identification mark,nationality,native state,native district,native taluk ,local body type (panchayath /municipality/corporation thats all just select your choice),local body etc.  You should have to fill all the details accurately then click nextbutton to proceed



Step 8: In the next page you have to enter your permanent address ,communication address etc with district,thaluk,village details.Enter the details correctly. Then click nextbutton to proceed.


Step 9: In the next step you have to enter your Email Address and Mobile Number etc. Then Click Next   

 [NOTE :BE CARE FULL WHILE ENTERING MOBILE NO. AND E MAIL ID AS KPSC WILL SENT THE USER NAME AND PASSWORD DETAILS TO THIS NUMBER AND MAIL ID.IF YOU ENTER SOME ONE ELSE'S MOBILE NUMBER ,THEY WILL GET YOUR LOG IN DETAILS AND SO THERE IS A CHANCE OF MISUSE OF YOUR ONE TIME REGISTRATION ACCOUNT]


Step 10: In the next and final page you have to enter User ID and Password which you prefer,choose a specific user name for your KPSC one time registration account,enter it in the specific box provided,if that specific user name is available for you that will be displayed as available then confirm the user id by typing again in the box given below.If the user name you entered is not available, it will be shown below the entered user name then you have to enter a different user name (a small change will be enough just try it by entering again) ,check availability and proceed. Enter your specific and strong password in the specific field given.Confirm password again by typing  in the required field (NOTE: REMEMBER THIS USER NAME AND PASSWORD FOR YOUR FURTHER LOG IN PROCEDURES IN FUTURE)  and provide Access code which is case sensitive and should be similiar to captche shown in the box (carefully enter digits ,capital letters as capital and small letters as small letters). Put tick on I agree and then Click Next button  


Step11:Then you will receive SMS with user id and other details in your mobile phone number 

Now Kerala PSC One Time Registration Finished. Remember Your User ID and Passwordfor further use.


UPDATING PROFILE INFORMATION AND QUALIFICATION BEFORE APPLYING FOR A JOB 

Before applying a job you have to update your account with details like educational qualification ,languages etc,then only you can apply a job with a specific qualification .So  you have to log in again using this user name and password to reach your Kerala psc one time registration account

1.Add your educational qualifications  :click the link no .1 in red colour in the home screen to add your qualifications.clicking ADD button add your educational qualification one by one,starting from 10th standard  onwards.(be ready with your certificates as you have to add details like registration no. board /university/date /year etc) .If your qualification is below 10th ,then only add the details of highest class you passed.
2.Then add languages you know including your mother tongue etc by clicking the 2nd link in homepage.
3.Then you have to click the 3rd link to give a declaration,this include details like if you presently a central /state government employee;;if you have any weigtages /preferences, i.e ,for categories such as physically handicapped,sports men ,army quota etc.;;any experience etc etc .here you will get questions with answer in yes/no format.If you are claiming any thing in this declaration ,then you have to add details of that claim in the next step by going to home page back.
Further you can update your profile by adding land line number etc.you can add details or edit by log in your account.You can apply for a job by clicking the NOTIFICATION link in the right side.Then you will get active notifications.If you are eligible you will get apply button click there and apply.You can use this one time registration account for downloading hall ticket ,viewing result etc.




How to login and Apply for Vacancies after One time Registration:

Open the web page www.keralapsc.org .Then click one time registration box.Then a page will appear with options to enter user ID ,password,access code in a box with titleRegistered user Log in .Enter your User ID and Password in the respective boxes provided then enter access code as captche shown as below.Then click LOG IN button.Then Updateit by adding Your Qualification and Other details.If your qualification is sufficient for a particular job in the notification it will show an apply now button. Click on it and apply. You can use this on line one time registration account with your particular user ID and password to Apply For vacancies, Download hall Ticket and view result.

Kerala, a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and its backwaters, a network of canals popular for cruises. Its many upscale seaside resorts include specialists in Ayurvedic treatments. Inland are the Western Ghats, a mountain range whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as abundant native wildlife.

Ernakulam (Kochi) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Its use of cantilevered Chinese fishing nets dates to the 13th century.It is the biggest Metro City in Kerala.

Kochi Metro is a newly inaugurated metro system for the south Indian city of Kochi in Kerala, India and is the fastest metro project in India in terms of completion time. The Kochi metro project became the first metro in the country which connects rail, road and water transport facilities. The first phase is being set up at an estimated cost of ₹51.81 billion (US$800 million).[5]
Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone for the Kochi Metro rail project in 2012, construction work was started in June 2013 and a 13.4 km (8.3 mi) section of the line from Aluva to Palarivattom was opened to public on 17 June 2017 by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India[6] A second 5 km (3.1 mi) section from Palarivattom up to Maharaja's College will be made operational by August 2017.[6] Kochi metro also includes the technology for driverless trains and is hoping to implement this in the near future.
Kochi metro was lauded for its decision to employ Kudumbashree workers and also members from the transgender community.[7] Kochi metro is also involved in sustainable initiatives with the introduction of non motorized transport corridors in the city, installation of solar panels for power and vertical garden on every sixth metro pillar. Apart from the regular tickets, it has also adopted a single card, single timetable and a singular command and control. This debit card along with the Kochi One Mobile App will allow passengers to access all modes of public transportation as well as be utilized for mercantile and internet transactions and will introduce the 'click and collect' feature in the near future where goods ordered online can be collected in the metro stations. Every Kochi Metro station is designed on a specific theme around Kerala culture and geography.

Kothamangalam is a Municipality in the eastern part of Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is around 14 km northeast of the town of Muvattupuzha and 55 km north east of Kochi city. The town is in the foothills of the Western Ghats mountain ranges. The highway NH 49 Ernakulam – Madurai – Rameswarampasses through Kothamangalam.The town serves as the headquarters of a taluk and a municipality of the same name. Kothamangalam is known as a trading center for spices and forest products. It is also famous for its ancient Syrian Christian churches.

Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It's best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Alappuzha Beach is the site of the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The city's Mullakkal Temple features a traditional design. Punnamada Lake's snake boat races are a well-known annual event.
